- Shalom! When it comes to hats I have lots of them. In fact, it used to be said about me that I have a "hat face". The truth is that I really do wear a lot of hats; Singer-Songwriter /Jewish-Americana-Israeli, Certified Clinical Musician / Healthcare & Healing Artist, Educator, Mother, Friend, Cantorial Soloist... hmmmm.... they call me "the spiritual one"... passionate and compassionate, world traveler, straight-shooter... In a nutshell.... I'm a person.

I've become obsessed with Korean films, shows and dramas. I love the humor, the passion, the art, the emotions, the stories - true, historical and fables - and of course, I have to mention the eye candy - those actors ain't too shabby at all. Lately I am really enjoying the action films. I love to watch the Taekwondo. It has inspired me to actually join a class to learn the discipline. Now, being my age I have to admit that I think I've gone nuts! However, the owner assured me that I'd be fine. Sooooooo, Taekwondo it is then!

WOW! Today, a stormy day, was blessed with the siting of a complete rainbow - that also became a DOUBLE rainbow in the sky. Unfortunately I couldn't get a good shot of the whole thing - but these photos will give you some idea. Here's a link to the video clip.
I had the pleasure of making music with Frank "Doc" Rudolph (fiddle) and Desmaris (Hammered Dulcimer and Piano) at the WOOD DAY event in Canterbury, NH. I've included info below about the event. Click on the title to see some video clips: Canterbury Folk 1 Canterbury Folk 2 - music starts at about 2:00 Canterbury Folk 3 Wood Days Wood Days, an event like no other, is settling into its new home, (and date- the first weekend in June). After 16 years at Canterbury Shaker Village Wood Days moved a mile and a quarter up Shaker Road to Dave and Anne Emerson's Old Ways Traditions. The many elements of the event- great food, old time and traditional music, demonstrations of a large variety of woodworking skills, hands on woodworking for kids and adults, and antique tools and machinery for all to try and/or see operating have proven to be a fine fit in their new location. Dave's old business of 20 years, Shaker Pine, burned in a spectacular fire. It's been reincarnated as Old Ways Traditions and reinvented as the new location for Wood Days and its sister event, Old Ways Days, the third weekend in October. The fire provided the impetus for a rebuild that has worked out well for the events and for our woodworking-environmental program which now has its own space in our main building.
